How much money Chelsea will make if they can beat Real Madrid and reach Champions League final

Chelsea will bank an additional €15m (£13m) in prize money should they progress past Real Madrid in tonight's Champions League semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge

Thomas Tuchel's team have a narrow advantage courtesy of Christian Pulisic's away goal in last week's 1-1 draw.

The West London club have already banked €91.8m (£79.7m) from the campaign but reaching the final in Istanbul would see them awarded €15m in prize money with a €4m (£3.5m) bonus should they lift the trophy.

They have already made more than €45m (£39m) from prize money on top of a solidarity payment of €31m (£26.9m), weighted by their coefficient ranking, and only earned a 10% share of the broadcasting pool available to Premier League clubs having finished fourth in the table last season.

Chelsea were only behind Real in terms of total amount earned from all clubs to have competed in Europe this season before the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Tuchel has confirmed that Mateo Kovacic is the only definite absentee from injury, with Toni Rudiger set to wear a protective mask.

Real Madrid arrived in London with Sergio Ramos, back in training following a spell out through injury, part of their group but fellow centre back Raphael Varane has stayed behind due to an abductor issue picked up in last weekend's win over Osasuna.

"It's the captain of the most successful team in recent years," the Chelsea head coach said of Ramos. "We cannot lose our heads about this decision. I think he will start and we must prepare for that."
