Arsenal are in line to bank an additional €2.4m (£2m) should they reach the Europa League semi-finals tonight, a figure that pales in comparison to the Champions League.
Mikel Arteta's team must win or earn a draw by scoring at least twice away to Slavia Prague if they are to progress having conceded in the final minute of last week's first leg to draw 1-1 at the Emirates.
In total they have made just €14.2m (£12.3m) as it stands from Europe this season - putting them 34th in a table of prize money for clubs across the Champions League and Europa League, according to figures from football-coefficient.eu.
That is despite the Gunners having the best coefficient ranking of any team to have competed in the Europa League group stages this season, which meant they earned the largest share of an €84m (£73m) pool. But that still just amounted to €3.4m (£2.9m).
They also got 30% of the English market pool, effectively a portion of money from broadcasting deals, courtesy of winning last season’s FA Cup.
Tottenham Hotspur were given just 17.5% and made €11.9m (£10.3m) from their campaign which ended with an embarrassing defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the round of 16.
Chelsea, by comparison, earned €12.5m (£10.4m) for reaching the last four of the premier competition, where they will face Real Madrid over two legs.
In total the West London club have made €91.8m from their European campaign so far - the second highest in Europe, behind only Real.
Kieran Tierney and David Luiz are confirmed absent through injury for Arsenal tonight but Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka should be fit.
"They showed in the first leg against us that they never give up and scored in the last minute of the game. We’re going to have a real battle tomorrow,” Arteta said in his pre-match press conference before flying to Czech Republic.
