How much is Conor McGregor worth? The net worth of the Notorious ahead of Donald Cerrone fight

Conor McGregor's sell-out fight with Donald Cerrone is the latest in a string of big paydays that have made him one of the richest sport stars in the world.

The Notorious is back in Las Vegas - his seventh fight in Sin City - in a bid to get his UFC career back on track.

But despite losing his two fights to Floyd Mayweather in a boxing ring and to Khabib Nurmagomedov in the octagon latest - the Crumlin man's bank balance has not suffered.

His Las Vegas showdown with Nurmagomedov in October 2018 earned him €28.2m, according to Forbes.

This was significantly less than the colossal sum he was meant to have raked in for his superfight with Mayweather.

But McGregor's has many other income streams with his own whiskey brand Proper Twelve reportedly to have sold over 200,000 cases, as of July 2019, to keep the money rolling in.

He also has sponsorship deals with the likes of Reebok, Beats Electronics, Burger King, Monster Energy and Budweiser.

Forbes have the Notorious' value at over €100m while he is believed to being pocketing a purse of €4.5million from his UFC return fight against Cerrone.

The 31-year-old has two children, Conor Junior and Croia, with his long-term partner Dee Devlin.

When his sister Erin was recently asked: "Did your life changes massively when Conor got big?"

She replied: "He is the most generous person I know and he inspired me to go after my dreams, so yes, but I'm still the same Erin, oh and I get fabulous presents lol."

McGregor has told how he has curbed his spending habits after taking a leaf out of the book of basketball legend LeBron James.

The Crumlin man admitted to becoming "obsessed" with flashing his cash on flash cars and designer items.

But McGregor revealed that he gave up the material life after he was inspired by 34-year-old LA Lakers star James.

The UFC star said: "LeBron James spends $1.5 million annually on himself. I saw it and said, 'I spend ZERO'.

"When a camp forms, I gather a team of people and go to the Vegas desert and do insanity work.

"It's an insane game. But it's not all in. It's halfway in. You can't be that way in the fight game.

"If you're in a game you need to be all in with it. I've only taken this philosophy recently."

He added to the Tony Robbins podcast: "I've had dips in commitment but I'm feeling in a great place."

McGregor explained that his new attitude prompted him to hire a entourage of people for his personal health.

"For so long, in my mid to late 20s when I started to acquire wealth I was obsessed with material things. I would buy myself cars and watches.

"I switched off on that now. I realised I was spending on material items but not on myself - on my fitness, my health.

"Now my nutritionist travels with me full-time, my doctors, my training partners, my coaches.

"I have a full team but it's all for fitness and peak performance. We've got to be in shape.

"A trait of the successful is to wake and train early."
