How much are Kynren tickets? See the cost ahead of the mass historical re-enactment show

If you are thinking of a family outing to the spectacle and fireworms in Kynren, which re-enacts moments from British history, we have the information you will need.

It all takes place in the grounds of Auckland Castle in Bishop Auckland , County Durham, and we have all the practical information you will need about parking, security and more, in order to get the most from the experience.

Take a look at our video and gallery to see whether you think it is an occasion you and your family and friends will enjoy.

No point pretending it’s cheap but there really is nothing like it elsewhere in the country. Children and teenagers - ages four to 17 - pay £10 less than full price and under threes are free if seated on an adult's knee.

Ticket prices

Standard Kynren tickets are £25, Superior £35 and Deluxe £47 (all three categories sitting in raked, stadium-style plastic seats, priced according to best view).

VIP tickets are £59 - sitting in raked, fully padded seats with extra space between them.

A special offer for a family of two adults and two children or teens costs £110. All seats offer a good view of the action, with some scenes unfolding at the sides of the arena. Tickets available at www.kynren.com or telephone 0333 300 3028. Tickets for the dedicated wheelchair area will have to be booked nearer the time over the phone.
