Alexis Sanchez has completed a permanent move to Inter Milan from Manchester United.
The Chilean winger has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal at the San Siro, after spending the season on loan from United.
"We have agreed [the deal]," United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told BT Sport after his side reached the Europa League quarter-finals with a win over LASK.
"He has enjoyed his time there. He is a top player but for whatever reason we didn't see the best of him.
"He is a top professional and we wish him all the best."
After joining from Arsenal, Sanchez only made 45 appearances for United and mustered five goals in what was a disappointing spell at Old Trafford, especially given the financial outlay from the Red Devils.
Sanchez's arrival was considered a coup at the time, with Manchester City in serious contention to sign the former Gunners attacker.
But United have been left to count the monumental cost of the deal - the 31-year-old signed a four-and-a-half year deal when he moved to Old Trafford, on reported wages of over £400,000-a-week.
A previous study from talkSPORT investigated just how much the Chilean earned per appearance and goal during his time with the Red Devils.
According to Football Leaks, who have been quoted by the Daily Mail, Sanchez was United's highest-paid player at the time.
On top of that, he was also reportedly earning £75,000 per appearance, as well as an annual signing-on fee of £1.1million.
Sanchez's 45 appearances for United and five goals means he has costed them over £5million each time he has found the back of the net.
In total, Sanchez has already earned roughly around £25million during his Old Trafford career, before his loan - and then permanent - move to Inter.
