Exactly a year ago today, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry carried out their final royal duties.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex beamed as they walked into Westminster Abbey in March last year for the the annual Commonwealth Day Service.
For the very last time they joined the rest of the Royal Family, including the Queen, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, but they were not part of the Queen's procession as they were the year before.
Meghan and Harry and were shown to their seats with the rest of the guests and in a last minute change, Prince William and Kate Middleton also missed out on the formal entrance and took their seats in the High Alter in the row in front of the Sussexes.
Meghan was seen to mouth “hi” and give a small wave to William and Kate, followed by a “hello”, in what appeared to be a happy meeting of the former 'Fab Four'.
However, according to experts it wasn't exactly a joyful reunion, and the Sussexes' final engagement was said to be marred with tensions behind the scenes.

That didn't stop Kate and William from marking the historical occasion by sharing a series of photos on social media, including separate pictures of Meghan and Harry.
The couple shared a snap of Meghan and Harry chatting to members of the choir outside the abbey and a photo of them speaking to religious leaders inside.
After the service, Meghan and Harry appeared to keep their distance from Kate and William, as they met with guests including Anthony Joshua and Craig David.
Some fans were left puzzled as to why Harry and his wife were sat behind big brother Wills, with many questioning whether it was a snub due to their decision to quit Royal life.
However this wasn't the case as their positioning was all to do with their ranks within the Firm.

William is second in line to the throne, while Harry was bumped down the list to sixth by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
They took similar positions the year before, with Kate and Wills sitting in the front row with the Queen, Charles and Camilla while Meghan and Harry sat behind them.
It was the first time that Kate, William, Harry and Meghan had all been seen together since the Sussexes announced they were stepping back from their Royal duties.
Sophie Wessex, who was sitting behind Kate, leaned forward to chat to the Duchess, while Harry and Meghan chatted to Prince Edward.
Commenting on the Sussex and Cambridge reunion, body language expert Judi James told Mirror Online described it was a "rather odd greeting ritual".
She said: "Harry and Meghan looked a lot more genuinely cheerful, and Harry especially, through a really affectionate smile at Kate.
"But when it was William, you could see Harry was slightly more rigid and his lips were closed."

Speaking more generally about Meghan and Harry at the event, she said: "It wasn't the warm reunion that we were all hoping for. The tension in Harry's body language especially was palpable.
"When he arrived, the minute he and Meghan had to drop hands, he immediately reached for his wedding ring which is a self comfort.
"Even when she was beside him after they had stopped holding hands, he was missing her, needing her support.
"As Harry walked up the aisle, they both waved at the children, but his face otherwise was quite tense and unsmiling."
Less than a month later was the official date of Megxit - but Harry and Meghan decided they were no longer going to live in Canada and moved to the US.
Instead they moved to LA before non-essential travel between the US and Canada was restricted during the first Covid-19 lockdown.
During their explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey this week, Harry said Charles stopped taking his calls after they stepped down from Royal duties.
Speaking about his father, Harry said: "I feel really let down because he's been through something similar.
"He knows what pain feels like."
He added: "I will always love him, but there's a lot of hurt that's happened.
"And I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try and heal that relationship."

He also claimed that the family have cut him off financially and said his and Meghan's new life is only possible because of his inheritance from Princess Diana.
The Duke admitted that he probably wouldn't have quit the royal family if it hadn't been for Meghan, saying he was "trapped" in the system.
Harry said they did everything 'the way it should have been done' when they quit the royal family a year ago.
Admitting he has sympathy for his dad and brother, Harry claimed they "are trapped" but "don't get to leave".
"I was trapped within the system. Like my father and my brother are. I have compassion for that," he told Oprah.
He later added: "I was totally cut off financially. My family cut me off – if I didn’t have what my mum left me, we wouldn’t have been able to do this.
"All I wanted to do was keep my family safe."

There was also perhaps some explanation for the frosty atmosphere between the Cambridges and the Sussexes at their final royal engagement together.
Meghan and Kate's row during a dress fitting has been thrust into the spotlight once again amid conflicting reports.
It was initially suggested that Kate was "left sobbing" amid the tense argument as demands were made over the flower girl dresses.
However, during her interview with Oprah, Meghan has said "the reverse happened" and she was left crying a few days before her nuptials to Prince Harry.
"A few days before the wedding, she was upset about something pertaining - yes, the issue was correct - about flower girl dresses, and it made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings," said Meghan.
She added: "Everyone in the institution knew it wasn't true. I am not sharing that piece about Kate to be in any way disparaging about her. I would hope that she would want that to be corrected."
Claiming it would not be fair on Kate to go into details on what happened, Meghan simply stated there "wasn't a confrontation" and an apology was made.
But she confessed the incident was a major "turning point".
