Former Heat editor Mark Frith has certainly antagonised a few celebs in his time (Ewan McGregor, for example, described Frith's erstwhile publication as a "dirty, filthy piece of shit" in 2003). But forcing the mild mannered Ben Fogle to lose his temper must have been a first. "We ran this picture of him and his pet dog and we didn't notice there was a little tag around the dog's neck which had Ben's mobile number on it," Frith discloses in a recent interview with Heat Radio. "The first thing I know about it, the picture team told me and then half an hour later I got this message on my desk which said 'Ben Fogle called, can you call him, he says you already know the number'. At that point I thought, 'Here we go, this is going to be fun." He seems like a nice guy, the kind of guy you'd want to take home and meet your mother but boy can he shout and with a posh voice as well. Aren't they all the more scary? All morning he'd had 60 people calling up and going, 'Is this Ben?' and then hanging up."
