How Marcelo Bielsa is planning to stop Jarrod Bowen

With Hull City in town on Tuesday night, it's all eyes on the Tigers' top scorer and star man Jarrod Bowen.

Ahead of the evening game at Elland Road, Marcelo Bielsa has been speaking to the press about Bowen and how his team will prepare to face the division's second most prolific scorer.

"You know how he plays," he said.

"This season we can see a lot of good attackers in every team. And in most of the teams, not just at the top of the table.

"[Bowen] is a very good player who unbalances the play easily. And he scores because he has a good shot."

When asked how Bielsa is preparing his Leeds United side to stop Bowen from scoring, Bielsa said: "Always we prevent the team how to avoid risk from the opponent when they attack.

"Our defensive way of defending does not change, what changes is the level of the attacker.

"We don’t underestimate inferior opponents so our strategy is always we prepare ourselves for the worst situation. In this case he’s a great attacker but we keep working in the same strategy and try to improve this strategy."

Bowen has scored 14 league goals this season including 10 goals in the last nine games. Last season he scored twice against Leeds United to give Hull City all three points when the two teams met at Elland Road in December.
