Tom Brady will start at quarterback in the Super Bowl on Sunday in a game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Brady, 43 years old, is no stranger to the big game. Which will have a lot of people asking: How many Super Bowls has Tom Brady played in, and how many has he won?
Tom Brady played in his first Super Bowl in 2001, when the young, unsung quarterback got the nod and Bill Belichick rode the hot hand to his first win against the Rams.
He has now won six Super Bowls (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLIX, LI, LIII) and played in eight total Super Bowls — today’s game will be his ninth. The two losses came to the Giants in 2007 and 2011.
All previous Super Bowls Brady has played in came with him on the Patriots. This will be his first with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
