How many episodes of The Outlaws are there and when is the finale?

The Outlaws is BBC One's new comedy-drama series, which is set in Bristol and features stars including famous Hollywood actor Christopher Walken, along with Bristol-born comedian and the show's creator Stephen Merchant.

Set to tell the story of a group of convicted criminals serving Community Payback sentences, the series is a crime thriller and 'character study' with some humour sprinkled in.

Describing the show, the BBC says: "At first, they seem like archetypes we can easily pigeonhole, but gradually we see behind their façades, understand their hidden depths and what made them the people they are today.

"We are reminded that no one is all good or all bad. Everyone has a story."

With the first show having aired on Monday, October 25, viewers are questioning how many episodes of the BBC One series we'll be getting, so read on to find out.

How many episodes of The Outlaws are there and who is in the show?

The Outlaws is set to have six episodes in total, with the first airing on Monday, October 25, 2021.

The series stars a whole host of famous faces, with Bristol's own Stephen Merchant starring in the series as Greg.

He also wrote and directed The Outlaws and revealed that it was his first time working in the city.

Also in the show is Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging's Eleanor Tomlinson, BAFTA award-winning actor Darren Boyd and Nina Wadia as Shanti.

When is the finale of The Outlaws airing on BBC One?

With the show airing weekly on Mondays on BBC One and six episodes in the series, the finale of The Outlaws is due to air on Monday, December 6, 2021.

Fortunately for fans of the show, a second series of The Outlaws has already been filmed.

However, the air date of the second season has not yet been revealed and it hasn't been without its fair share of mishaps.

The show's costume designer, who also worked on Killing Eve, had 20 years of kit destroyed after a production lorry for The Outlaws went backwards over the dock at Bristol Harbour and ended up in the water.
