With summer now over, the nights will soon be drawing in and we'll all be looking for a new TV series to get stuck into.
Well before you head to Netflix to binge watch something, you might want to lend an eye to a new drama that is enthralling BBC viewers right now and is now more half way through!
Written and directed by Bafta Award-winning filmmaker Ben Chanan and made for BBC1 by Heyday Television and NBCUniversal International Studios, The Capture kicked off on Tuesday, September 3 at 9pm.
When soldier Shaun Emery’s conviction for a murder in Afghanistan is overturned because of flawed video evidence, he returns to life as a free man with his young daughter.
But when damning CCTV footage from a night out in London comes to light, Shaun’s life takes a shocking turn and he must soon fight for his freedom once again.
With newly promoted DI Rachel Carey drafted in to investigate Shaun’s case, she quickly learns that the truth can sometimes be a matter of perspective. Should she trust Shaun Emery?
How many episodes of The Capture are there from BBC1?
There will be SIX episodes of The Capture in total.
After the fourth episode on Tuesday, September 24, there will be just two left.
In episode 3 the stakes intensified for Shaun as he was interrogated by inscrutable US agent Frank Napier at a covert CIA outpost in a Belgravia safe house.
While Napier was trying to discover Hannah's whereabouts, Carey was simultaneously attempting and failing to locate Shaun in the Belgravia house she saw him enter on her CCTV watch.
If you can't wait until next week to find out what happens, there is the option to binge watch as all six episodes will be available to watch on the BBC iPlayer app once it has aired on television.
