How many episodes of Des are there and where to watch the ITV drama

The brand new ITV drama Des, starring David Tennant, has gripped the nation.

ITV's true-crime series depicting the police investigation into the murders committed by serial killer Dennis Nilsen, started and ended this week.

The story, which details one of the most infamous criminal cases in UK history, is played by a star-studded cast, including Jay Simpson and Bronagh Waugh.

But how many episodes of Des are there and how can you catch up with it?

Des is a three-part series but rather than schedule the episodes out over a three-week period ITV decided to televise them over three consecutive nights.

The first episode of Des aired on Monday, September 14, the second on Tuesday, September 15, and the final last night [Wednesday, 16]..

If you missed the series, however, fear not as episode one, two and three are on the ITV Hub now.

And if you're looking for more dramas to watch, ITV is currently airing The Singapore Grip.

It's a six-part series based on Booker Prize winner JG Farrell's satirical novel which was first published in 1978 and adapted by screenwriter Sir Christopher Hampton for ITV.

Set during World War Two, the series follows a wealthy British family living in Singapore at the time of the Japanese invasion.

It airs every Sunday at 9pm, or alternatively you can catch up with the whole series on Birdbox.
