Ireland's coronavirus cases are continuing to rise daily with hopes that we are currently going through the peak.
Lockdown will be in place until Tuesday, May 3rd when a further update will be given with hopes restrictions will begin to be lifted.
The Department of Health's daily briefing is continuing to take place at around 5:30pm every evening where the latest deaths and cases are announced.
