How many cases of coronavirus are there in Ireland today? Live worldometer tracker of new daily deaths and cases

Ireland's coronavirus cases are continuing to rise daily with hopes that we are currently going through the peak.

Lockdown will be in place until Tuesday, May 3rd when a further update will be given with hopes restrictions will begin to be lifted.

The Department of Health's daily briefing is continuing to take place at around 5:30pm every evening where the latest deaths and cases are announced.

Here are the latest figures from the Department of Health as of the evening of Tuesday, April 14th.

Northern Ireland

Cases: 1967

Deaths: 134

Breakdown of 41 deaths reported on Tuesday

· 36 deaths located in the east, 4 in the west, 1 in the south of the country

· the people included 16 females and 25 males

· the median age of today’s reported deaths is 85

· 31 people were reported as having underlying health conditions
