How Manchester United dressing room spirit has changed

Louis Saha believes the 'good spirit' is back at Manchester United following their recent revival under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United struggled for consistency throughout the opening weeks of the new season but appear to have turned a corner after a resurgent run of results.

Solskjaer's side have won five of their last seven matches in all competitions and have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup as well as securing passage to the knockout phase of the Europa League.

Saha believes a key part of United's recent success is down to the strong team spirit at the club and the manner in which staff members bond with the players.

The former United striker returned to the club earlier in the month as he visited the club's Carrington training ground and observed life behind the scenes - and he insists there is a positive atmosphere around his former side.

"I met Paul Pogba last week and he was pleased to see me," Saha told GQ.

"He saw that I dedicated my life to being a footballer. I felt very comfortable going back to United to see the players, to see the staff smiling and hear the players having good banter.

"Living with pressure in this club is normal, but you can see that there’s a good spirit back at Old Trafford.”
