Manchester City haven't got much time to lick their wounds following the derby day defeat to Manchester United as they will be back in action on Wednesday to face Arsenal.
City fell to a deserved 2-0 loss to their cross-town rivals on Sunday and Pep Guardiola will be hoping to see a return to their best when they welcome the Gunners to the Etihad.
The match will see Guardiola's former assistant Mikel Arteta return to the club for the first time since taking over as Arsenal manager and the Blues may face a difficult game against an opponent who knows them so well.
There's some potential good news on the injury front, however, as Aymeric Laporte and Kevin De Bruyne have returned to training and will be assessed to see if they're fit enough to play.
Guardiola remained coy on whether Leroy Sane was ready to return to first team action but confirmed the rest of his team was fit, so John Stones may be back after missing the Manchester derby due to a fitness issue.
Pick your best starting XI here:
Tyrone Marshall
Ederson had his worst game for City on Sunday but he remains undroppable and in front of him Guardiola is likely to go with Otamendi and Fernandinho again, with Laporte only just back in training and uncertainty over Stones' availability and form. It may be tempting to go with Garcia here, but it still feels unlikely that a risk will be taken.
Both full-backs from Old Trafford should change, with Walker and Mendy returning. In midfield Rodri and Gundogan will likely start again with David Silva returning. It may be too soon to risk De Bruyne, while Bernardo Silva's form remains a real concern for Guardiola.
In attack Sterling is desperate for a goal to get his confidence back. Arsenal remain vulnerable at the back and he enjoys playing against them, so should start. Mahrez should have started at Old Trafford and he has to come back in on the right.
Aguero took a heavy knock in the derby and he should be rested with more important assignments to come and Jesus given the chance to lead the line.
Daniel Murphy
Despite his costly mistakes in the derby, Ederson remains the club's best goalkeeper and Guardiola should keep faith with him after his first horrendous game in nearly three years at the club.
Changes will be needed at the back, however, City were nowhere near as good without their first-choice full-backs in the side so Walker and Mendy should both come back in.
With the form of Stones and Otamendi questionable, and Laporte a fitness doubt, Garcia should be given an opportunity to prove himself in a big game.
Foden was the only City player who looked dangerous for the majority of Sunday's match, and he should keep his place in the side but be deployed in his natural midfield role. He was moved back there at Old Trafford and the side looked much more balanced as a result.
If he's fit De Bruyne must start, as must Mahrez, who has proved himself to be City's most dangerous winger over recent weeks. Sterling hasn't been at his best for a while now and he should be dropped in place of the in-form Jesus.
Joe Bray
There shouldn't be any rash changes from the derby, with any players coming in doing so for fitness reasons.
John Stones and Benjamin Mendy can freshen up the defence, with Kevin de Bruyne playing in midfield if he passes a fitness test. Joao Cancelo and Phil Foden should keep their places from the derby to build some much-needed Premier League experience.
Up front, Pep Guardiola hinted that Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus could start together more often, so there's no reason that shouldn't start against Arsenal - especially after some good showings from the left.
