How Man City's win has affected Premier League title race with Liverpool FC

The Premier League season is rapidly approaching its conclusion but the destination of the title is still to be decided, as Manchester City and Liverpool lock horns at the top of the table.

With just three games to go, it is still anyone’s guess who will be lifting English football’s biggest prize in just a few weeks time but City took a huge stride towards back-to-back titles on Wednesday evening.

Pep Guardiola’s side made the short trip to Old Trafford to tackle arch-rivals Manchester United and put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to the sword, inflicting a 2-0 victory that sees City take advantage of the title race.

There is just a few games to go and City have everything in their hands, as they look to become the first side in a decade to successfully defend their crown.

Here, we've identified how things stand in the title race with the odds, remaining fixtures and recent form for both sides.
