Taylor Swift returned to the stage for the first time since buying back her masters and completing her Eras Tour. The singer performed at the “Tight Ends and Friends” concert, which was hosted by Travis Kelce at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday.
According to Page Six, the 35-year-old Grammy winner treated fans to a performance of Shake It Off at the event, which is part of Kelce’s training camp program called “Tight End University.” The three-time Super Bowl champion organized the concert as part of the week-long activities in Music City.
Swift appeared on stage after Kane Brown’s set, borrowing Chase Rice’s acoustic guitar. Before her performance, she addressed the excited crowd, saying, “We were up there, having some drinks, and we were thinking ‘How loud can this place get? Theoretically, how loud can the singing be in here?” She then revealed that the performance was planned just three minutes before.
Swift buys back masters in $360 million deal
The performance marked a significant moment for Swift, as it was her first since recently purchasing back her masters. Last month, she announced that she had successfully bought back the entire music catalog of her first six studio albums in what was reported to be a $360 million deal.

The catalog includes her albums Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red,1989, and Reputation – albums she has been systematically re-recording to regain ownership. These albums were previously owned by record executive Scooter Braun, who bought them for $300 million in 2019, before they were later acquired by investment firm Shamrock Capital.
Swift celebrated this achievement by sharing photos on social media of herself with her first six original albums spread around her, captioning the post with lyrics from her 2008 song: “You belong with me.”
The singer already owns the masters to her more recent albums, including Lover, Folklore, Evermore, Midnights, and The Tortured Poets Department, through her deal with Universal Music Group and Republic Records, which she signed in 2018.
