How long you've got to enjoy this lovely Bristol weather according to Met Office

It looks like it’s going to be a bright and sunny start to the day in Bristol.

The weather looks like it will remain largely dry and fine throughout Sunday with sunny spells mainly in the morning.

But after lunchtime it’s expected to turn cloudy, although for the most part remain dry, according to the Met Office.

Winds will be light for most areas, making it feel warm in the sunshine and temperatures are expected to reach 23C.

And for those of you suffering sleepless nights because of the heat, it is supposed to be much cooler tonight with temperatures dropping to the mid teens in the city but in more rural spots in the South West they could be as low as 7C.

For anyone who has an early start on Monday, there is a risk of some mist or fog patches towards dawn so be careful if driving.

Tomorrow will see a dry and bright start for most but it will turn breezier through the afternoon as clouds and showery rain spread eastwards.

And on Tuesday, a weather warning for thunderstorms is in place in Bristol - so enjoy the nice weather you can.
