The First Minister has today announced a two week lockdown in Wales.
Leading the latest Welsh Government briefing, Mark Drakeford outlined the details of the new fire-break to curb the spread of coronavirus. See the full details of his statement here.
The fire-break is a time-limited lockdown and was described by the First Minister as a "short, sharp, shock to turn back the clock, slow down the virus and buy us more time."
It means that people in Wales will be required to stay at home from 6pm on October 23.

What are the fire-break lockdown rules in Wales?
First Minister Mark Drakeford has ordered people to stay at home for two weeks to break the rapidly increasing spread of coronavirus in Wales.
It means:
- People must work from home unless they are critical workers
- All non-essential retail, gyms, leisure centres, bars, restaurants and hospitality must close
- Community centres, libraries and recycling centres will close
- All indoor and outdoor gatherings with people you don't live with are banned
- Primary schools will reopen after half term but secondaries will shut for all but Years Seven and Eight
