Wales is two weeks into spring and, as a result, asking when we can expect the warmer weather to kick in. Many have woken to a frosty but pleasant day in Wales, and forecasters are making positive predictions for half term.
The Met Office has reported that the colder weather is on its way out, stating the "influence of cold Arctic air currently across the UK will lessen into next week." Additionally, a bout of warmer air from the Arctic will arrive, helping temperatures increase as the week progresses. Meterologist Aiden McGivern says while things are still uncertain, there is an increased likelihood of higher pressure later next week and beyond, signifying warmer weather is on its way. The strange weather Wales has seen in recent days has included a tornado that lifted lambs.
Meteorologist Steven Keates added: "The further south and east you are, the better chance of seeing predominantly dry conditions into the Easter weekend. Probably quite pleasant actually in the sunshine, with temperatures probably on the warmer side for the time of year. So you're probably looking at mid to perhaps upper teens "Potentially looking quite promising in the south and east, a little bit more mixed for the north and west."
