With temperatures set to reach as high as 27 degrees over the coming few days, the conditions in the country are set to be sweltering.
Over the coming days, expect to see the following highs in parts of the country; Wednesday (26 degrees), Thursday (27 degrees), Friday (24 degrees).
As for the weekend, the settled weather will continue with spells of sunshine. Temperatures will also be above average, moving into the twenties.
Netx week will also be mainly dry, warm and settled, however, temperatures will decrease to slightly around average.
Looking further ahead, Met Eireann has provided an update about how the next four weeks are shaping up too.
The period of Friday, 27 August until Thursday, September will also be settled with a front of high pressure bringing stable conditions. It's set to be drier than normal with little to no rainfall. The temperatures will be close to normal on the east coast, but places elsewhere will experience warmer than average conditions.
As for the following week (Friday, 3 September to Thursday, 9 September), this period of high pressure will be weaker.
In turn, conditions will become more unsettled and temperatures are likely to fall back to average over the eastern half of the country and remain slightly above average across the western half of the country.
Met Eireann has said: "Conditions will still be drier than normal overall this week for the majority of the country, with normal rainfall amounts or slightly wetter than normal conditions signalled for the south and southeast."
Looking further ahead, there is a weak signal for low pressure to be dominant from Friday, 10 September until Thursday, 16 September.
Temperatures are likely to be average for this time of year, with slightly above average temperatures signalled for coastal areas.
Met Eireann has said: "Precipitation will vary across the country, with the west, southwest and midlands signalled to be slightly drier than normal. Elsewhere rainfall totals will likely be normal or slightly above normal."
"Confidence is much lower for the week of Friday, 17 September to Thursday, 23 September but there are signs of low pressure continuing to dominate and be the main influence of the weather. There is a signal for wetter than normal conditions countrywide with temperatures average for the time of year."
