Garth Crooks has named two Everton players in his BBC Sport Team of the Week following the Blues impressive performance against Premier League leaders Arsenal.
Sean Dyche witnessed his new side claim a shock, yet well-deserved, victory during his first match in the Goodison Park dugout thanks to a second half header from James Tarkowski.
It was the Blues' first success in the Premier League since October 22, when they beat Crystal Palace 3-0 thanks to goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anthony Gordon and Dwight McNeil.

And following the rousing victory, standout performers Tarkowski and midfield general Amadou Onana have been named in the pundit's Team of the Week.
Speaking in his BBC Sport column, the former Tottenham forward, Crooks, hailed the former Burnley defender for a "turbocharge in confidence" under former Clarets boss Dyche.
"Everton should have scored three goals in the first half against Arsenal and would have done with better finishing. It took a set-piece and a centre-half to break the deadlock against the league leaders, which rather explains why they have struggled this season," said Crooks. "Tarkowski's first goal for Everton won them the points, but I can't help feeling the arrival of his former Burnley boss Sean Dyche has turbocharged the player's confidence.
"The entire team has also responded to the demands of the new manager. However we've seen this all before - the question is, how long will it last?"
Meanwhile, Onana, who has been one of the few positives for the Blues during a torrid season on Merseyside, continued to receive the plaudits as he battled and harried his North London counterparts all afternoon long and was instrumental in Dyche's men holding onto their lead late in the second half.
"It's been some time since an Everton player got into my team of the week - and we have two after this weekend," added Crooks. "I've had lots to say about their poor performances and managers - but no selections.
"Against Arsenal I could have picked any of their midfielders, both full-backs and their two central defenders, such was their performance. However, it was Onana who seemed to get the blood pumping among Evertonians as he took the game to the Gunners.
"His passion, determination and willingness to cover every blade of grass was infectious. What a pity former manager Frank Lampard saw very little of that."
