How long might the Boston Celtics be without Robert Williams III?

How long will the Boston Celtics have to play without their starting center Robert Williams III after he was diagnosed as needing surgery for a torn meniscus? At the top of the proverbial mountain in the Eastern Conference’s top spot after clawing their way back from 11th place earlier in the season, the Celtics lost Williams in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, March 27, Timelord went down injured, and could be back on the court anywhere from weeks to several months from now.

What are the deciding factors regarding his potential range of return dates? What are the concerns which could arise if he chooses one course of treatment over another? These are the questions of importance surrounding the Texas A&M product’s current situation.

To try and determine when Williams might be back in green and white, the hosts of the semi-eponymous WEEI Radio show “Felger and Mazz” Mike Felger and Tony Massarotti are joined by Jim Murray to talk all things knee injury and Timelord.

Check the clip embedded above to hear their conversation in full.
