How long is the glorious sunny weather set to last in Nottingham?

It's another beautiful sunny day in Nottingham today as thousands take to the city centre shops, restaurants and beer gardens.

Forest fans will be walking along the banks of the Trent taking in the sunshine, hoping for a vital win against Swansea.

Nottingham is expected to reach highs of 14 degrees Celsius this afternoon (Saturday, March 30). And while it's not quite Ibiza, it'll do. There's also not a spot of rain predicted, so that helps.

Thursday and Friday, March 28 & 29, also turned out to be glorious sunny days with no rain, and very little cloud.

But how long is this spring sunshine going to last in our area?

Well, make the most of it while you can today.

The Met Office has forecast a cloudy cooler day on Sunday, March 31 with highs of 10 degrees "feeling noticeably colder everywhere". So, if you're planning on taking your mum out for a walk, it's probably best to take a coat.

And the new working week will not get off the finest of starts weather-wise either.

The Met Office has said: "Frosty start on Monday, then dry and bright before rain arrives overnight.

"Tuesday and Wednesday sunshine and heavy showers, perhaps wintry over the Peak District. Temperatures becoming rather cold."

So if you're at a loose end today and fancy a tipple in the sun, why not have a look at our list of 10 great beer gardens in Nottingham and beyond?
