If Skate 4 wasn’t giving Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 enough competition already, another contender has stepped in and snatched the spotlight. In a world where sports games aren’t focused on narratives, Skate Story has amazed fans with its unique tale.
Though it’s not free-to-play like Skate 4 and comes with a $19.99 price tag, it boasts a 9 out of 10 Steam rating. Safe to say that Sam Eng has done a phenomenal job. However, being an indie title that features a story, most of us are curious about its length. That said, here’s how much time you need to complete Skate Story.
What Is the Game About?

Before we uncover the duration, let’s discuss what the game is about. As soon as we come across the name “Skate Story”, a lot of us assume that it’s going to be about some underground skater striving to the top.
But in reality, the game is far from that. In Skate Story, you start as a fragile skater situated in a dark, mythical Underworld. Here, players have to skate along the ashy environment, destroy demons, and rescue troubled souls. Ultimately, you become a dominant skater in this supernatural atmosphere and have an out-of-the-box skating experience throughout the journey.
How Long Does It Take To Beat Skate Story?
Although it’s an indie game, Skate Story is surprisingly longer like a triple-A title. For those who want to rush towards the end, expect around 7 to 8 hours of play time. But if you calm your horses and aim to bag all the trophies, it will take roughly 10+ hours to beat.
Keep in mind that the duration differs from person to person. Some can complete the game early while others might take a while; it’s completely subjective.
The game is included with PlayStation Plus Extra, so if you have the subscription, do give it a try.
