The news that all gyms and leisure centres were to close will have hit many people hard, especially those of us who are used to the sense camaraderie and belonging that regularly hitting up your favourite fitness studio can offer.
It's going to be a tough time for the fitness industry, read our round up of how to continue to support (and work out with) your favourite London gyms here.
The good news to those of us keen to keep fit while WFH, is that the online at-home workout offering has had a serious update in the last few years, with some clever apps and digital platforms offering equipment-free workouts that simply require the space of a yoga mat, so there's no excuse to stop moving.
Anxiety levels may well be high, but exercise will take your mind off it, and leave you with a well-needed endorphin rush - a good use of the extra time you have from no longer commuting.
Here are some of the top fitness Instagram accounts, apps and YouTube channels using innovative ways to deliver at-home workouts.
