How Liverpool, Man City and Jamie Carragher left Manchester United icon Gary Neville lost for words

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has made a strong Jamie Carragher admission when taking part in a quick-fire question and answer session on social media.

The former defender struggled to find a speedy response when he was asked who he prefers out of ex-Liverpool stars Carragher and Jamie Redknapp.

Neville works alongside the duo covering the Premier League for Sky Sports, and in a special Q&A with the English Football League on Twitter he agonised over this particular question.

The 44-year-old jokingly responded: "I don't like either really! I spend more time with Carragher that's not necessarily a good thing.

"Is this supposed to be quick-fire? This one's got me hasn't it! I think Jamie Redknapp's nicer, I'll go with him."

Another question put to the former England international was which Premier League side he prefers out of Liverpool and Manchester City.

Neville emphatically shot down the question by throwing his piece of paper in the air and declaring: "Man City or Liverpool? Get rid of them!"

"Not answering that one! None of them! I'm sick of them!"
