These breathtaking pictures show how thousands of Liverpool fans have taken over Madrid.

The Spanish capital's Felipe II Square is packed with red shirts, pyro, flags and banners as the Reds prepare for the Champions League final.

There are also plenty of bucket hats and shorts on show as the Reds soak up the 33C heat.

John Barnes, John Power and Jamie Webster started the songs as the sea of red stretched out as far as the eyes can see.
