Kia Joorabchian's influence can help Arsenal seal Philippe Coutinho transfer and save £38.2m

Arsenal's summer transfer plans could be influenced by Kia Joorabchian.

The super-agent is being tipped to provide the Gunners with a number of players ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.

Sports Invest UK is an agency run by Joorabchian, who is a close associate of Edu and Barcelona attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho is one of many players he represents who has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

It's widely expected that Coutinho will leave the La Liga giants this summer and he's also been linked with Chelsea, Newcastle United and Manchester United.

And after it was confirmed that the Brazil international won't be joining Bayern Munich on a permanent basis, reports in France claimed the Gunners are now in talks with Joorabchian regarding the midfielder.

This is not the first time Joorabchian got fans talking ahead of the summer transfer window. Back in March, he was spotted at the Emirates alongside several members of the Arsenal hierarchy during the game against West Ham United.

In a video captured by Edu's daughter, the agent was seen celebrating Alexandre Lacazette's goal in the Arsenal directors’ box alongside Sanllehi and Edu.

It is thought that Joorabchian is a lifelong Arsenal supporter, whilst he also represents current Gunners stars David Luiz and Cedric Soares.

But his presence at the Emirates certainly added intrigue.

Although could Joorabchian have been meeting with Sanllehi and Edu to discuss this summer's transfer plans at Arsenal?

One look at the other five players represented by Sports Invest UK does make interesting viewing for Gunners supporters. Chelsea attacking midfielder Willian and Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa are among those on the list.

Both players have strongly been linked with moves to the Emirates so Joorabchian being pictured with the Arsenal chiefs could be a clue as to what the club's plans are for the summer.

Meanwhile, Spanish publication Sport claim Arsenal are willing to present an attractive offer to Kurzawa, who will be a free agent this summer, to fend off competition from Barcelona.

Should the Gunners sign Kurzawa (valued at £10.8m by transfermarkt) as well as Willian (£20.25m) and Cedric (£7.2m) on free transfers, they would save £38.2m in transfer fees based on the trios current values.
