Kate Middleton keeps her three children George, Charlotte and Louis close to her heart while on tour by wearing a poignant engraved necklace.
The Duchess of Cambridge was this week pictured adorning the 9-carat recycled gold charm necklace which features a personalised engraving of her three children's initials.
The £1,070.00 pendant, by luxury designer Daniella Draper has a spiritual edge, described as representing the moon.
On the designer's website, it says "the moon is universally representing the rhythm of time as it embodies the cycle. The phases of the moon symbolise immortality, eternity and enlightenment."
The 38-year-old looked chic on her outing as she paired the pendant with a simple black polo neck, midi-length £9.99 leopard-print skirt from Zara and Ralph Lauren boots.

The duchess completed the stylish outfit with a camel coat by Massimo Dutti.
Kate wore the outfit to Cardiff, Wales, for her second trip during her 24-hour tour around Britain on Wednesday.
The duchess was launching a landmark survey on early childhood development, a topic that has become paramount to her royal duties, as her interest in the subject grew in line with her own experience of motherhood.

Kate opened up to fellow parents about how she felt lonely and isolated living in rural Wales after George as born and William was away working.
The launch of the '5 big questions on the under 5s' survey plans to gather insight from young children with the aim of shaping education.
On the project, Kate said: "The Early Years are more crucial for future health and happiness than any other moment in our lifetime.
"I want to hear the key issues affecting our families and communities so I can focus my work on where it is needed most."

The research was commissioned by the Royal Foundation, which hopes it will "spark the biggest ever conversation on early childhood".
The Duchess began her whistlestop tour with a visit to MiniBrum, an interactive, child-sized mini-city at Thinktank, Birmingham’s science museum.
This week's sweet nod to the children isn't the first time the duchess has made a public gesture to her family.
A year after Prince George was born on 22 July 2013, Kate donned a necklace featuring a disc with her first born's full name.
She also had a heart-shaped charm marked with the letter 'W' for her husband William. The 'W' necklace was a gift from her sister Pippa costing £89, as was the pendant honouring her children.
Kate, who is known for her bargain shopping, was previously a part-time accessories buyer for the fashion chain Jigsaw, owned by friends of her family Belle and John Robinson.
