How Kalvin Phillips and the Leeds United dressing room reacted to stellar England display

Kalvin Phillips was once again a star performer for England as they beat Ukraine 4-0 to reach the last four of Euro 2020.

The Three Lions ran riot in Rome as they demolished their opponents, scoring three goals in 15 second-half minutes to secure a place in the semi-final.

Gareth Southgate's side will now face Denmark at Wembley on Wednesday night, whilst Kalvin Phillips came through the match unscathed.

The Leeds United midfielder was one yellow card away from a suspension and with the game won, he was taken off after 65 minutes to ensure his availability for the semi-final.

Yellow cards have now been wiped out so Phillips won't have to watch his step from now on after a composed display in the centre of the park which helped England to a fifth-consecutive clean sheet of the tournament.

Reacting to the win on Twitter, Phillips wrote: "Semi-Finals and Wembley, we’re coming!! #Euro2020 "

Support for Phillips has been far and wide across the country and not least from his Leeds United team-mates, who were quick to react to another stellar performance from the 'Yorkshire Pirlo'.

Non-less than Luke Ayling, who was vocal on social media in his belief that football's 'coming home', whilst beaming with pride for his Leeds team-mate.

"Get your feet up Phil big week ahead #ItsComingHome," Ayling wrote on Twitter after posting a gif of Phillips celebrating in England training.
