How Jane Park got pregnant with her friend Barry after being unlucky in love

Jane Park bagged £1million at 17 and is expecting her first baby six years later.

The 23-year-old announced on Saturday night that she is expecting her first child with a friend called Barry.

Romance hasn't always been easy going for Jane, who has had two previous boyfriends since winning the lottery.

She struggled to find love as a young millionaire and was worried that people only wanted her cash - let's take a look at Jane's whirlwind love life.

Lotto millionaire Jane, 23, briefly dated X Factor's Sam Callahan back in March 2017, after sparking up a relationship over social media.

But reports of Sam kissing fellow X Factor contestant Soheila Clifford in front of in front of Jane while they were at a house party left her in tears, and it all came to an abrupt end.

Then in April, the singer begged Jane to leave him alone, branding her as "obsessive" and wanting to follow him into the Big Brother house.

Sam brutally told The Sun: "If I'm really honest, I wish she would just go away. She needs to pipe down.

"If she actually thought there was something really serious she was wrong.

"We were friends when we met at these events in London and we had a good time but she was wrong if she thought anything was going to happen. We live millions of miles apart, it wasn't going to happen."

However Jane, from Edinburgh, quickly moved on from the heartbreak and started dating Dundee FC's Jordan Piggott, 20, in September of the same year.

The pair officially confirmed their relationship on Facebook .

They were pictured enjoying a date night at a Toby Carvery and sharing a steamy kiss in the street after she met his parents for the first time.

Jane was about to hire a detective to watch boyfriend Jordan, as she said: "She said: “Winning the lottery made me a ‘psycho girlfriend’, the money made it too easy to keep an eye on what boyfriends were doing.”

When they split, Jane eventually checked herself in for counselling following their relationship and her "obsessive" behaviour.

Having failed at finding the perfect relationship, Jane took decided to try something different - and she launched a website where lads could apply to be her boyfriend.

She was offering one lucky man an eye-watering £60,000 a year "allowance" to wine and dine her.

An insider told Mirror Online: "Jane is amazing and has so much to give but she has found herself alone again as since she won, she’s had terrible luck.

“She’s never sure whether she is being loved for herself or for her bank balance. So she would rather have the arrangement out in the open.

"Jane has a tendency to be insecure sometimes and worries about people’s motives. She is willing to pay the right price for someone loyal.”

And now she's finally at peace with baby number one on the way.

She also says she has found genuine contentment.

“Seeing the positive pregnancy test was more exciting than seeing the winning numbers on my lottery ticket,” she said. “It’s a crazy time but I am so happy.

“I had imagined finding a boyfriend, settling down and then having a baby, but it just didn’t work out that way,” she said.

“Barry and I originally started talking over social media and grew into friends.

“We became close and one night things naturally progressed. We are both committed to being parents.

“I’m grateful he works full-time and is a good person.”
