How Jack Grealish responded after Aston Villa fan told him Man City are a 'small club'

While everyone waits to see when (or if) Harry Kane will return to Tottenham training, there is no such controversy surrounding Jack Grealish.

Manchester City want both England stars, and have submitted a £100m bid for Grealish last week while Kane's situation at Tottenham continues to dominate the headlines.

Kane has failed to report back for pre-season training for two days at Spurs, in an apparent bid to put pressure on his club to allow him to leave.

Grealish, meanwhile, has returned on time to Villa's training camp and took time to pose for photographs with supporters on Monday, while he was also pictured in conversation with his manager Dean Smith and also the club's Sporting Director Johan Lange.

Villa want Grealish to stay, and will offer him a new contract to try and persuade him that his future remains at Villa Park. Naturally, Villa fans are also desperate for their captain to stay at his boyhood club and not join City.

Now, a video has emerged of Grealish's interactions with fans on Monday as he remained largely silent when faced with supporter's questioning over whether he would sign a new deal.

The footage, which was posted to Twitter, sees Grealish posing for pictures with some young fans, while older Villa supporters quizzed him on his future.

One fan can be heard saying: "you know how much we love you", while another fan took aim at City by asking: "You want to join a club that was formed ten years ago? City are a small club mate, they'll ruin you."

To that, Grealish responded: "huh?", but didn't engage further and moved along the line of waiting fans as he was urged again to sign a new deal at Villa.

It's reported that Grealish will speak with Villa owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens this week to discuss his future.
