'How is the UK?' trends on Twitter and hilarious responses ensue - here are some of your best

As the UK faces up to storms, floods and coronavirus, Twitter has collectively decided it's time to check in and see how we are getting on.

"How is the UK" has been trending and Brits have taken the opportunity to air their opinion on the state of the country.

Hilarity resulted as more and more people waded in with their brutally honest replies.

Here are some of the best British tweeters had to offer.

One Twitter user wrote: "I see 'how is the UK' is trending. Well... our prime minister is hiding (presumably in a fridge), we appear to be under a lot of water thanks to never ending rain, we have Brexit to deal with and we have the coronavirus."

They accompanied the tweet with a Will Ferrell gif quoting his film line "We don't know what we're doing!"

Another person said: "How is the UK? It's been raining for 3 months and I just saw Noah's ark go past the window."

"How is the UK? About to go down the pub until all this blows over," wrote another.

Elsewhere someone said: "How is the UK? It's been raining non-stop for 6 months, half the country is underwater, the other half is running out of bread and milk, and we're on the verge of a nationwide nervous breakdown. Send help!

Another added: "'How is the UK?' Well we have Brexit, flooding, snow, coronavirus, and the Tories are still in charge. Living the dream."

But there were a few people who appeared more content with things of late.

One such user said: "How is the uk? Spiffing thank you."
