What are the demands facing the Scottish social services workforce?
The Social Care Network has teamed up with the Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services (Iriss) to launch a survey, which aims to understand the experiences, attitudes and outlook of care professionals in Scotland.
The View from Here survey is open to all those working in social services in Scotland – whether employed by local authorities, charities, private sector providers or the healthcare sector.
It asks those delivering care and support – working at any level – to share their views anonymously about issues including job satisfaction, training opportunities, workloads and the impact of policy on care professionals.
Are demands on the social services workforce greater than they have ever been? What are the views of practitioners about their work?
Iriss intends to use the responses to support and promote public understanding of the sector in Scotland, as well as to identify opportunities and ideas for improvement.
