How Is Coinbase's Stock Performance Compared to Other Blockchain Stocks?

New York-based Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN) operates a platform for crypto assets in the United States and internationally. With a market cap of 75 billion, the company offers the primary financial account in the crypto economy for consumers and a brokerage platform with a pool of liquidity across the crypto marketplace for institutions.

PTC fits right into that category, with its market cap exceeding this threshold, reflecting its substantial size and influence in the financial data & stock exchanges industry. Coinbase is the largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange, trading some 50 different digital assets.

Despite its strengths, the stock has plunged 15.6% from its 52-week high of $349.75 touched on Dec. 6, 2024. Over the past three months, COIN stock has grown 63%, outperforming the iShares Blockchain and Tech ETF’s (IBLC28.8% rise during the same time frame.
