How high do Packers rank in 2020 NFL uniform rankings?

The Green Bay Packers have an iconic, enduring uniform aesthetic. This undisputed fact was celebrated by Uni Watch in their updated 2020 uniform rankings.

Although the Packers didn’t land in the top spot, they still finished second among the 32 NFL teams, trailing only the black-and-silver uniform set of the Las Vegas Raiders.

From Walker Loetscher of Uni Watch: “There are trends, there are fads, there are pandemics — and then there’s the timeless, elemental simplicity of the Packers’ uniforms, which provide the ideal autumnal color palette for an autumn sport.”

Loetscher’s only criticism of the Packers’ look was the enlarged shoulder numbers. In fact, he mentioned this subtlety was the only thing keeping the Packers from the top spot.

Otherwise, the Packers’ look – headlined by the green and gold color scheme, a simple but iconic logo and some of the best striping in the uniform business – continues to earn the highest of respect from outsiders.

The uniform rankings were done by a committee of voters from Uni Watch, a blog created by Paul Lukas that has long been dedicated to the aesthetics of sports.

The worst uniform set belonged to the Arizona Cardinals. The worst ranking NFC North team was the Detroit Lions, who finished No. 20 despite remaking their look recently. The Chicago Bears were No. 8, while the Minnesota Vikings finished No. 19.
