How Hibs could line up after sealing Nisbet, Wright and Gogic transfers

It was a signing spree at Hibs on Friday as the Easter Road club managed to bring in not one, not two, but three new faces.

Drey Wright signed a two-year deal from St Johnstone, shortly followed by Kevin Nisbet on a four-year contract, before Alex Gogic completed the trifecta late in the day from Hamilton.

Jack Ross' side are in good shape as they look to mount a challenge for third spot in the upcoming season.

He certainly has plenty of options available to him when they kick off their Premiership campaign at home to Kilmarnock on August 1.

Here's how they could line-up with the three new boys.

4-4-2

Ofir Marciano in goals, with a back four of Paul McGinn, Ryan Porteous, Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stephenson.

Gogic would partner Scott Allan in midfield which would provide a good balance, with Wright and Boyle on either flank.

Christian Doidge was in fine form last season and he could partner Nisbet up top.

4-3-3

The back five would be unchanged, but this would be a more attacking line-up.

Gogic would be the holding midfielder with Scott Allan and Stevie Mallan ahead of him in more advanced roles.

Wingers Wright and Boyle would be pushed further up the field with Nisbet leading the line by himself.

3-4-3/5-2-3

The additions of Nisbet, Gogic and Wright gives Ross a new dimension with the potential to play three or five at the back.

Gogic would slot into defence beside Jackson and Hanlon, with McGinn and Stevenson deployed as wing backs.

Melker Hallberg would act as the holding midfielder in this scenario, allowing Allan to be utilised in the No.10 role he thrives in.

Wright and Boyle would again be on the wings with Nisbet in the No.9 position.
