The most recent coronavirus data has revealed the Covid infection rate has increased in more than three quarters of the local authority areas in England.
Of the 315 council areas in England, 269 have seen a rise in Covid cases while just 46 have seen a fall.
It comes as a leading virologist warned the UK is probably already close to 100,000 coronavirus cases per day.
Bath and North East Somerset is the area with the highest coronavirus infection rate in the country, according to the latest data from Public Health England.

There were 1907 confirmed cases in Bath and North East Somerset for the week ending October 16, which means the infection rate in the area is 971.2 cases per 100,000 people.
In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 411.1 cases per 100,000 population which is lower than the national average of 454.1.
Trafford continues to have the highest Covid infection rate in Greater Manchester, despite cases falling from 2009 to 1503 for the week ending October 16.
