There have been a lot of defenders linked with Old Trafford in recent weeks, as the club clearly need to strengthen in that area.
Particularly at right-back.
With the release of Antonio Valencia and the unspectacular performances of Ashley Young last season, it's clear that strengthening this position is of vital importance this summer.
The latest name to be linked with United is PSG full-back Thomas Meunier, a powerful Belgian defender who loves going forward to both create and score goals.
But, just how good is Meunier? And, what are his best attributes?

The 27-year-old is not your typical right-back, according to Football Manager 2019.
If you couldn't see his favoured positions, you would think that he is a natural central defensive midfielder, rather than a full-back, when looking at his attributes.
The Belgian's technical attributes are outstanding for a full-back, with strong passing (14), technique (14), composure (15), decisions (14) and vision (12).
This means that he becomes a real threat when in the opposition's final third, as his crossing (15), long shots (12) and finishing (10) are all pretty good for someone who plays as a full-back.
He has a current ability of 145 out of 200, to put that into context, this makes him better than Ashley Young (144) and at the same level as Luke Shaw (145).
However, with a potential ability of 151, he could become much better than Shaw and would even become United's best defender, better than Victor Lindelof (150).
According to Football Manager 2019, Meunier would be a good signing for United. The PSG player offers a unique option at full-back and would be an upgrade on their current options.
