Liverpool's summer transfer window has been pretty quiet so far, with Jurgen Klopp very happy with the state of his squad, a squad which led to a Champions League triumph in the last campaign.
In fact, the only signing completed so far this summer for the Reds has been 17-year-old defender Sepp van den Berg, a promising central defender from Holland, who will likely go straight into the Liverpool Under-23 squad next season.
Reports today have linked Liverpool with the signing of yet another promising youngster in the shape of AS Nancy Lorraine's Bilel Hassaini, an 18-year-old midfielder.

The France Under-17 international is now available on a free transfer, after his contract at the Ligue 2 side expired at the end of last month, which has reportedly made him a target for some of Europe's biggest clubs, including Liverpool.
So, how good is Hassaini?
And, what is his potential?
We asked the highly respected Football Manager 2019 database to find out.
Bilel Hassaini - AS Nancy Lorraine

Current Ability: 86/200
Potential Ability: -75 (150/200)
Positions: Attacking midfielder
Age: 18
Due to Hassaini's age and the fact he spent last season playing in the French second division, some of the young midfielder's attributes haven't been inputted into the database yet, but the ones that have give us a clear indication of what kind of player he is.
For starters, the left-footed 18-year-old has a number of impressive technical attributes filled in, including technique (12), dribbling (12), crossing (11), first touch (11) and passing (10), which suggests that he's gifted technically for his age.
His acceleration (12) is at a decent level, as is his anticipation (12) too.
His current ability has been inputted as 86 out of 200 on Football Manager 2019, to put that into context, that's around the same level as Liverpool youngster Isaac Christie-Davies (87), who is three years older than Hassaini.
Also, his potential ability has been set at -75, which means he could reach a current ability of 150 out of 200. To put that figure into context, if the 18-year-old was to reach his potential, he could have a similar level of ability as Naby Keita (153), Xherdan Shaqiri (150) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (151).
Overall, Football Manager 2019 suggests that if Liverpool could get Hassaini on a free transfer this summer, even if they have to pay some compensation, his signing could go down as an absolute bargain in the next few years, as his potential is very good indeed.
