Gogglebox has quickly become one of the most popular reality TV shows across the UK.
The Channel 4 series follows an array of ordinary viewers at home watching the biggest shows of the week on television.
It's so loved due to the fact that it gives an insight into the genuine and hilarious reactions.
Gogglebox is the iconic show that launched Scarlett Moffatt into the TV stratosphere and has given us iconic duos such as the "Nuttys" Giles Wood and Mary Killen.
So is it any wonder that besotted viewers across the nation are dying to bag the gig for themselves?
Unfortunately for those aiming to get behind the screens themselves, Gogglebox creators have shared some disappointing news last year.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, producers told that they were not currently in search for new faces to join the show for it's next series - but that could soon change as restrictions ease in England.
This boils down to the fact that every single star who appear on our screens each week was scouted in person.
Speaking about the cast, last year, the show’s creator Stephen Lambert revealed: "We are not currently casting and there is no way to apply to be on Gogglebox".
"Everybody on Gogglebox has been found and persuaded to be on the show and I think that’s the key to why they are likeable and why the show works, because we get to know these people.
"We’ve never advertised for people on Gogglebox."
Bosses are constantly on the look out for entertaining people who would make "strong and entertaining" viewers.
They want people who wouldn't be shy away from sharing their opinions about TV shows and films.
While you can’t apply to be on Gogglebox, there tends to be new cast members every series.
So that means only one thing - eager applicants have to just carry on being themselves.
Current Gogglebox members were reeled in after they heard how much they would get paid to appear on the hit reality TV show.
Cast members are treated to free takeaways to aid their viewing pleasure.
As well as this, they get paid a pleasant £1,500 a month for their participation in the show.
Gogglebox airs on Fridays at 8pm on Channel 4.
