How far stars from YOUR club are travelling during the international break

Tottenham's players will be travelling over 60,000 miles between them this international break, more than twice the circumference of the world.

As the end of the season fast approaches, clubs are looking for any potential advantage they may have over their rivals.

Unfortunately for Spurs, the international break has just handed the teams challenging them for a place in the top four a big boost.

Tottenham players heading out on international duty are set to travel a massive 63,782 miles between them.

That’s almost 20,000 miles more than any other team in the top flight.

West Ham have the next greatest total distance at 44,468 miles followed by Everton with 42,242 miles, Liverpool with 37,749 miles and Wolves with 36,727 miles.

The biggest contributors to Spurs’ gap year-esque tally are Davinson Sanchez, the Colombia centre-back, and South Korea star Son Heung-min.

Both players are heading out to the far east with their respective squads and are racking up 23,556 miles between them.

That’s more than the entire squads of Huddersfield (12,476 miles) and Watford (9,327 miles) combined.

Elsewhere, Manchester City and Chelsea, who both boast squads full of international superstars, sit 11th and 12th respectively behind the likes of Crystal Palace and Fulham.

The distances have been calculated as a round trip from each player’s home ground, to the stadiums where their national team will play and back again.
