How Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois could hold the key to Real Madrid's move for N'Golo Kante

Eden Hazard wants to see former Chelsea teammate N'Golo Kante at Real Madrid, according to reports.

The former Blues' player left for the Spanish giants during the summer but is yet to make his debut for La Liga club.

According to the Athletic both Hazard and former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois are ready to recommend the midfielder to manager Zinedine Zidane amid interest from the Frenchman.

The midfielder has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent times, but unlike, Hazard, the midfielder still has three years left to run on his contract, meaning that a huge fee would be needed in order to prise him away from Stamford Bridge.

Kante has proved himself to be one of the best players in his position since his arrival from France in 2015. The quietly spoken Frenchman helped Leicester City win a miraculous Premier League title in the 2015/16 season before completing a £32 million move to Chelsea the following summer.

The 28-year-old has gone onto play a massive part in Chelsea winning both the Premier League in 2017, the FA Cup in 2018 and the Europa League in 2019.

He is also a World Cup winner with France, winning the competition in the summer of 2018.

The latest on Chelsea's injuries and Hudson-Odoi's possible return

A popular figure among both teammates and fans, his popularity could prove key in clubs deciding to try and sign the midfielder.
