How does WR Mecole Hardman feel about catching passes from Patrick Mahomes?

13 receivers have been drafted in the first three rounds of the 2019 NFL draft. Only one of those receivers gets to come into the NFL and play with the reigning league MVP — Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. In 2018, Mahomes shocked the world with his exciting play style that lead to a historic season, totaling in over 5,000 passing yards, and 50 touchdown passes.

In 2019, new Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman is that one receiver who gets to catch passes from Mahomes, and he’s feeling quite lucky to have that opportunity.

“Seeing Pat Mahomes play, watching him play the way that he did, I think any receiver would be lucky to be on the same field with him and catch passes from him.” Hardman explained in a conference call. “I’m grateful to be in that situation and I’m looking forward to getting to work with him and get the chemistry going and help him do big things in the future.”

Hopefully they’ll strike up an early chemistry and he can mix in with the other dynamic weapons the Chiefs have on offense right away. Andy Reid seems to have some plans for him to catch some deep balls from Mahomes, with his blazing fast 4.27 speed.
