In a game about a devilish slot machine, you need a little bit of luck to hope for a win. In CloverPit, Luck is a stat you can manipulate. It allows you to bend the rules in your favor, earn more coins, and maybe even escape.
Luck is an ambiguous term, but in this game, it follows a set of rules, so here’s everything you need to know about Luck in CloverPit.
Luck in CloverPit, explained
Luck determines how many symbols in the spin will be the same at a minimum. It doesn’t affect where those symbols land when it comes to forming patterns or what those symbols are. Patterns are random, and symbols are determined by the odds you can check on the left-hand poster, respectively.
There are two ways to boost Luck during a spin. First is by getting spontaneous Luck, and the second is by picking up lucky charms that manipulate the Luck stat.
While the Luck can be increased via these two methods, the base Luck is still random and can add a few more symbols needed for that jackpot.
Spontaneous Luck

Spontaneous Luck is when the slot machine sparks as you pull the lever. There is no known number by which sparks increase your Luck, but they seemingly can have different levels of strength. The spontaneous Luck is random, but you can affect it slightly with charms like Depression.
Lucky charms

In between rounds, you can buy charms from the shop using tickets. Charms can improve your run in many ways and are detrimental to earning enough coins to get through deadlines. There’s a charm for almost everything in the game, including a series of charms that affect the Luck stat.
Here are some of the charms that increase Luck in CloverPit:
- Rotated Hamsa: Grants +7 Luck for the last spin of a round.
- Red Shiny Rock: Grants +4 Luck for the next spin (triggered by the red button).
- Fake Coin: +1 extra spin, the +4 Luck for that spin (triggered randomly, 10 percent chance).
- Green Pepper: Luck +7 for the current spin (triggered randomly, 15 percent chance). Discard after nine activations.
Luck stat isn’t displayed anywhere when using the slot machine, so you’ll have to count it yourself if you want to lean into something specific. Because there are 15 symbols on the slot machine, if you can get your Luck to 15 for the spin, you get a guaranteed jackpot. This creates a new way to play by taking advantage of items that require many patterns in a spin, focusing on patterns/jackpots for a specific symbol, and more.
