The 49th AIG Women’s Open will feature 144 players, competing at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club in Wales from 31 July-2 August. Securing one of these coveted spots is possible through various routes.
Many competitors qualify via specific exemption categories, which you can find listed below. However, players who don't meet these criteria still have a chance through Pre-Qualifying and Final Qualifying events.
Pre-Qualifying is an 18-hole competition that was held on Monday 14 July at Delamere Forest, where sixteen golfers made it through to Final Qualifying on Monday 28 July at Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club in Bridgend, Wales. After 18 holes, a minimum of three additional golfers will earn their place in the AIG Women's Open field.

The AIG Women’s Open Championship is open to female professional golfers who are members recognised professional associations/Tours such as the Ladies European Tour (LET) and Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).
