How do they still do it?

As a married reader aged 60 whose sex life has ceased, I read your column detailing the inventive ways couples maintain their sex lives with envy and dismay (This is how we do it, 28 October). Their descriptions are impressive, but would it be possible to run a parallel column entitled “This is how we don’t do it”, in which couples reflect on the dwindling of that part of their lives together? It might explore how this absence is managed with humour, tenderness, philosophical resignation and creativity, or simply despair. I’m sure it would be of interest to many people, particularly here in mid-Wales.
