'We all hate Leeds' is the chant often heard at Elland Road coming from the away supporters over the years.
But is that now changing?
Leeds' brilliant start to life back in the Premier League is changing people's perceptions of the club, according to some people at least.
Marcelo Bielsa's side have captured the attention of neutrals following some stirring performances on their return to the top flight.
Two 4-3 classics, as well as a win over local rivals Sheffield United has given the Whites a solid platform going into the rest of the season.
And even though the side are often seen as a 'dirty' team and one which opposition supporters love to hate, they are now becoming a soft spot for some.
Ally McCoist and Alan Brazil discussed Leeds on talkSPORT and admitted the club's start has surprised them.
"They've started really, really well, I've got to say," said McCoist.
"We've always felt Leeds would be a great addition to the top flight and boy are they proving us right.
"They have been a breath of fresh air. I've watched all their games and they are just great to watch.
"My youngest has informed me Leeds are now his second team!"
Brazil agreed with McCoist, adding: "A lot of people liked Leicester and now a lot of people have Leeds now as their second team!"
