How did the Dolphins perform in the Pro Bowl Games?

While every NFL fan is waiting for the Super Bowl next week in Las Vegas, Nevada, the league held its second annual Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, Florida.

Superstars from around the league took the field at Camping World Stadium to take part in various events between Thursday and Sunday, including the flag football game.

Six players represented the Miami Dolphins throughout the weekend – Tua Tagovailoa, Raheem Mostert, Alec Ingold, Tyreek Hill, Terron Armstead and Jalen Ramsey.

How dd they all do in their individual and team events?

  • Tagovailoa struggled in the Precision Passing challenge, scoring only 16 points and finishing last among the competitors.
  • He completed five of his eight attempts for 91 yards in the flag football game with two touchdowns.

  • Mostert made some plays in the flag football game, but he did start out the game with a tough drop that he blamed on the sun.
  • He also participated in the “Closest to the Pin” golf challenge, and unfortunately, he found himself in the drink.

  • As you’d imagine, there’s not much need for a fullback during a flag football game.
  • Ingold did participate in the “Closest to the Pin” golf challenge alongside Mostert, and he had a much better showing than his backfield mate.

WR Tyreek Hill

  • Hill showed off his speed and what it could be like to see him on the Olympic team for flag football, scoring that long touchdown (shown above).
  • He was supposed to participate in the dodgeball event, but he was replaced by Justin Simmons.
  • Hill did participate in the Madden game, as he and David Njoku were beaten by Micah Parsons and Puka Nacua.

LT Terron Armstead

  • Armstead didn’t participate in the flag football game, as the only offensive lineman needed was a center.
  • Honestly, the veteran left tackle looked like the weak link in the “Move the Chains” competition. He needed help to clear the weight off of his end, and his part of the wall was falling behind when pulling.
  • Armstead also participated in the sled push in the “Gridiron Gauntlet” and despite partnering with former Dolphin Laremy Tunsil, they were unable to beat Penei Sewell and Tristan Wirfs.

CB Jalen Ramsey

  • There’s not exactly the tightest coverage in the flag football game, but Ramsey did show off his moves as a rusher against Jalen Hurts.
  • He also took part in the dodgeball game, and the NFC completely dominated his team.
